Wheelchair Dental Suite
Dr. Swati Khanna and the team at Dentistry at LaSalle are excited to offer improved dental accommodations, including a specially designed treatment suite for our patients who use wheelchairs. We have installed the Versatilt system to assist patients in wheelchairs to have dental work completed in the comfort of their own chair.
By having this technology available, we can help our patients using wheelchairs stay in their own chairs when getting their dental care. It can be difficult to move patients from their wheelchairs to the dental treatment chair, and patients find their own wheelchairs to be considerably more comfortable –especially for extended procedures. Our special Versatilt system can accommodate high weight capacities, allowing us to assist all patients.

Many services can be performed in a wheelchair using this specialized ramp, including physical examinations, x-rays, nitrous oxide sedation, cleanings, and other surgical and non-surgical services. We encourage patients who use wheelchairs to ask about this treatment room to streamline their visit and make it more comfortable than ever before.
